The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas, a 17-acre, mixed-use entertainment and lifestyle center located in the heart of the iconic Las Colinas Urban Center, has added two experienced members to the company’s dynamic team. Industry veteran Tony Barraco has joined as general manager of The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas, and Jon Paul “JP” Gomez will spearhead local branding and communications as director of marketing.
“Tony and JP both have extensive industry experience and longstanding relationships throughout North Texas, making them exceptional additions to our team at The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas,” said Noah Lazes, president of ARK Group. “They are already bringing a great deal of energy to the project and are offering creative ideas that will benefit all our tenants. I’m confident they will turn The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas into the region’s premier entertainment destination.”
With more than three decades of experience in restaurant operations, Barraco will play an integral role in building relationships with restaurant tenants at The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas. He will also leverage his expertise to provide on-site management throughout the development. His background includes developing and implementing restaurant concepts, owning a local restaurant, and working for a national family entertainment center.
“I’ve had the opportunity to travel around the country and experience various restaurants and entertainment concepts, and I’ve never seen anything like The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas,” said Barraco. “I’m very excited to be part of such a unique project and I’m looking forward to creating lasting customer experiences. With the diverse food establishments and programming that will be available, The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas will have something for everyone.”
An accomplished marketing professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, Gomez will help define the overall vision and brand for The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas. His previous experience in designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for Sundance Square in Fort Worth gives him firsthand knowledge of how to create positive, widespread awareness for entertainment districts.
“Our goal is to create a destination where Irving residents and visitors from all over North Texas can enjoy fabulous food and great music,” said Gomez. “I am thrilled to play a role in bringing this amazing project to the region.”
Once completed in late fall 2017, The Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas will serve as a regional destination for music, food and entertainment. The highly anticipated development expects to bring approximately 1,900 jobs to the area and more than 2.5 million visitors annually.
