The Leadership Irving-Las Colinas program is in its 34th year of developing the future leaders of Irving-Las Colinas. Each year, the highlight of the class is the class project, which is decided, organized, and executed completely by the class members. The mission of Leadership Irving-Las Colinas is to motivate its leaders for civic, charitable, and community involvement.
This year, the Leadership Irving-Las Colinas Class of 2017 chose to renovate the Brighter Tomorrows complex. In collaboration with Diana Franzetti, Chief Executive Officer at Brighter Tomorrows and Pam Brown, who facilitates the Leadership Irving-Las Colinas program, the 2017 class organized the two-day project by gathering the necessary resources to clean, update, and paint the entire interior of the complex. Class members donate their time, talent and supplies to the charitable effort, resulting in another exceptionally successful class project for Leadership Irving-Las Colinas.
