Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer has renewed Irving's pledge to help support monarch butterfly migration by signing the National Wildlife Federation's Mayors' Monarch Pledge. The City of Irving has joined hundreds of cities across the U.S. in creating a more pollinator friendly community for the monarch butterfly. Read Mayor Stopfer's 2021 Monarch Pledge.

As part of this pledge, Irving's Think Green...Be Green (TGBG) program will offer residents and businesses the resources and opportunities to learn about sustainability and environmental topics. For more information on monarch butterfly migration and resources, visit TGBG Monarch Butterflies.
