One of North Texas’ largest and most successful industrial parks has been purchased by an international property investor.
BentallGreenOak — with Institutional Logistics Partners, which it manages — bought the 1.4 million-square-foot Gateway Logistics Center at DFW International Airport. The five-building business park at Airport Freeway and Valley View Lane was built by Dallas-based Bandera Ventures.
The high-profile industrial campus is almost fully leased to businesses including Heritage Auctions, Samsung, Hello Fresh, Legendzways Distribution and Hussmann Corp.
The huge office, distribution and warehouse complex was completed in 2019 and quickly began leasing up. The commercial property firm JLL began marketing the property to buyers a few months ago.
BentallGreenOak is a major investment adviser representing more than 750 clients. It operates more than $50 billion of office, logistics, multifamily residential and retail properties worldwide. BentallGreenOak has offices in New York, Toronto, London and Tokyo.
