The mission of Leadership Irving-Las Colinas is to identify, educate, and develop future leaders and to motivate these leaders for civic, charitable, and community involvement.
Each class is conducted over a period of eight months, from September through April. After the initial team building retreat, the class typically meets on the first Friday of each month for a full eight-hour day. Leadership Irving-Las Colinas class members can miss no more than 8 hours of class days.
Foster more effective, well-rounded leaders.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders of various Irving-Las Colinas industry segments.
Educate participants on plans for the future growth of the Irving-Las Colinas region.
Build a stronger community by developing the bonds between the future and current leaders of North Texas.
