Texas continues to receive doses of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines and is distributing statewide to hospitals, pharmacies, local health departments, freestanding ERs and other clinics. Due to the extremely limited number of vaccines currently available, Dallas County has established a pre-screening form for Country residents to determine their eligibility. This form will be used for initial registration and pre-screening for vaccination eligibility at DCHHS only. Other locations may have additional availability.
Due to the growing number of cases in Dallas County, many businesses must limit their capacity to 50%.
In Dallas County, the commissioners have mandated that businesses must require customers and everyone on the premises to wear a mask.

At a local level, as part of the Dallas County Economic Recovery Committee, our President and CEO, Beth Bowman, continues to provide input we are receiving daily from our business industry. This input includes best practices for reopening and re-officing such as preparing the business environment through deep cleaning and social distance workspaces, preparing employees for new methods like temperature taking, testing, staggered hours and access to childcare.
