Vanessa Segovia is the Manager of Events for the Chamber where she oversees all of the Chamber's annual, quarterly and monthly events as well as hosts ribbon cuttings for Business Investors. She also serves as staff liaison to the Young Professionals Committee (ypILC) and the Events Committee.
Vanessa is from McAllen, Texas, and relocated to Irving in July, 2008. Prior to joining the Chamber, Vanessa was the Advertising Director for Advanced Orthopaedic Institute in McAllen. She is a graduate of the University of Texas-Pan American, majoring in Advertising and Public Relations.
In addition to her duties with the Chamber, Vanessa is an active community volunteer. She is on the Advisory Council for the Citizens Development Center, the Development Chair for the American Cancer Society's Irving-Relay for Life and a Board Member for the Miss Dallas Pageant. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter Caroline and her fiancé Matt.
