Michael Burlison joined the Chamber as Office Manager in late October 2006.  In March 2008, he took over as Governmental Affairs Liaison and Assistant to the Chamber President/ CEO.

His duties include overseeing the governmental affairs initiatives and assisting the President/ CEO with various projects.

Michael was previously with the Small Business Administration where he worked as a paralegal.  Prior to the SBA, he lived in Austin, Texas where he worked in politics for 13 years at the State Capitol for former Governor Ann Richards, former Secretary of State Henry Cuellar and various State Representatives.
