A surge in fourth-quarter leasing made Dallas-Fort Worth the top office market in the country for 2017.

New Irving entertainment district Toyota Music Factory is going to have no shortage of places to eat and drink. In addition to all the other restaurants moving into the complex, a massive 90,000-square-foot project with six dining and drinking establishments is readying to open in spring 2018.

A Florida-based investor has purchased an Irving business park. Savlan Capital acquired Commerce Park, a 179,049 square foot multi-tenant industrial project near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Irving.

Commercial Metals Company, an Irving-based manufacturer of steel and concrete reinforcing products, announced Tuesday that it would acquire the certain U.S. assets of a Gerdau, a Brazilian operator of steel mills, for $600 million.
