ArtCenterThe Irving Arts Center is a first-class facility featuring two theatres, four galleries, rehearsal hall, grand reception area, a serene outdoor sculpture garden and 10 resident arts groups.

This top-tier arts center is a member of the Smithsonian Institution Affiliation Program allowing it to borrow from the Smithsonian collections and access its educational resources.

The center also collaborates with the local schools to sponsor classes, projects and contests for students.

Resident Arts Groups

Entertainment Series of Irving
A wide variety of affordable entertainment including big band jazz, musical revues and dance performances. 

Irving Black Arts Council
Promotes and showcases African-American artistic talent through art exhibitions, concerts, poetry readings, theatrical productions and youth programs.

Irving Chorale
A community chorus of more than 60 singers from Irving and the surrounding areas performing the greatest music in the choral repertoire.

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas
Award-winning, theatrical entertainment at an affordable price as well as opportunities for members of the community to become involved in all areas of theatrical production through open auditions, mentoring, special project support and classes.

Irving Art Association
Established to promote art appreciation and educational opportunities with more than 20 curated exhibitions, professional demonstrations and workshops.

Irving Symphonic Band
Provides quality music for concert-goers and a musical outlet for its members.

Irving Symphony Orchestra
Presents six concerts each season with notable guest artists and varied repertoire. The orchestra partners with the Irving Independent School District to introduce students to the components and sounds of orchestral music. The ISO also performs during the city’s Annual 4th of July celebration.

Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra
The 90-plus musicians are chosen by competitive auditions from more than 400 applicants each year.

Momentum Dance Company
Irving’s only ballet company is a pipeline for pre-professional ballet dancers.

New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving
A full-size community orchestra comprised of musicians from Irving and surrounding areas.
