Joy Goodrum
Director of Education and Workforce Development

Alysia is the Vice President of Workforce Development and Administration for the Chamber. She manages the Leadership Irving-Las Colinas and Future Leaders of Irving programs; she is the staff liaison to the Chamber’s Education Committee, Education Foundation, and Film Irving Committee; and she oversees the Chamber’s Human Resources functions. Alysia is on the Board of Directors for North Hills Prep and also sits on the Irving ISD’s District Improvement Committee.

Alysia was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California and moved to Los Angeles, California in 1999. She relocated to Coppell, Texas in December of 2006 and lives with her husband Matt and their Boxer Waffle. Alysia has her M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Cal State University Long Beach (CSULB) and her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business from the University of Southern California (USC). Her career path includes positions as a Human Resources Specialist for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in the Personnel Selection Branch; an Adjunct Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Pepperdine University, and the Vice President of Conferences for the Personnel Testing Council of Southern California (PTC-SC).
