Each of the district’s comprehensive high schools received enhancements to their fine arts and athletics facilities.

Nimitz High School hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony to showcase their renovations. Following a ceremony in the new Black Box Theater, one of the enhancements through this project, guided tours of the newly-renovated spaces were given. Visitors saw an expanded band hall, choir room and orchestra room, new athletics lockers and new mats/wall pads in the wrestling room. After the ceremony and tours, an orchestra concert was held in the auditorium.

Enhancements have also been made to the fine arts and athletic areas at Irving High School and MacArthur High School. Additional photos from the event can be found on the district Photo Gallery.
