MacArthur High School cross country runner Emilie Jimenez has been named the One Irving Scholar Athlete of the Month for November. The award is presented to a student who has shown extraordinary dedication and achievement in sports and in the classroom.

Emilie is a member of the MacArthur High School cross country and track teams. She is ranked 10th in her class of 488 with a 99.71 GPA. Emilie is the returning 2015 District 9-6A Individual District Cross Country Champion, a regional cross country finalist in 2015 and regional track finalist in 2016. In addition, she is a member of the Interactive Club, a group of students that organizes community-based activities such as car washes, volunteering at hospitals.
