The School of Law and Public Service at Singley Academy in Irving ISD has once again been recognized for outstanding programming and partnership with the Irving Police Department (IPD). The National Career Pathways Network (NCPN) recognized the program with the NCPN CP Partnership Excellence Award. The award emphasizes the importance of career guidance and advising, professional development for educators and employers, and the employer role in providing work-based learning opportunities for students. As the first-place winner, Irving ISD will receive $1,000, and district officials have been asked to present at the NCPN conference in Indianapolis in October, where district officials will accept the award.
