The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce hosted Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins for its annual State of the Dallas County address on Wednesday, June 1.
The Irving Chamber’s signature program was held at the Hackberry Creek Country Club. Dallas Morning News Reporter Gromer Jeffers moderated the conversation with Judge Jenkins about Dallas County.
The State of Dallas County is held annually to educate business leaders and the public about topics and issues.
Judge Jenkins also recognized the Irving Chamber’s commitment to transportation projects or programs that increase economic development activity and create jobs.
Judge Jenkins also discussed Zika Virus, Affordable Care Act and The Fair Chance Act, a nationwide call-to-action to accomplish the shared goal of creating a stronger set of opportunities for people who have been impacted by the criminal justice system.
Mike Peterson and Angela Ross of AT&T, the event’s presenting sponsor, also spoke at the event.
