MacArthur High School sophomores Yohana Tesfaselassie and Krisly Osegueda were awarded first place and $2,000 in the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Leadership Council Innovation Award. The award was presented at the Best in Irving Awards Celebration, held April 21 at the Texas Musicians Museum. The students designed an app “A Whole New World” to help unite cultures across our community.
