The hotel hosts many events for the city throughout the year.

Carson finished fifth, behind Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and John Kasich, in the Texas Republican Primary. He received 115,596 votes, which is about 4.1 percent, with about 95 percent of the vote in. Cruz won Texas with 1,217,471 votes, which is 43.7 percent.
