Avero Diagnostics will expand its operations in Irving, adding 45 jobs. The company will lease 13,000 additional square feet for a total of more than 41,000 square feet of space at the Dallas Communications Complex (6221 Riverside Drive).
Avero is a specialized cancer diagnostics company that provides anatomic and molecular pathology services to physicians and patients across the United States in order to determine the best method of treatment.
The Irving Economic Development Partnership worked with Robert Deptula of Transwestern over the past several months to find a location to fit Avero’s needs.
This announcement continues with the trend of Irving as a strong and desirable location for the health care industry. Five major headquarters and several other large corporations call Irving home including: Christus Health headquarters, Health Smart headquarters, Hospital Corporation of America North Texas headquarters, USMD headquarters, Health Smart headquarters, American College of Emergency Physicians Headquarters, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving, Las Colinas Medical Center, HMS, Humana, United Health, Texas Center for Proton Therapy, Miraca Life Sciences and many others.
