It was a sea of red at the Irving Convention Center earlier this month. More than 700 Hilti employees from across the U.S. converged at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas for a week-long conference. It’s an opportunity for Hilti to demonstrate and test-out the company’s newest lines of tools and products.

Hilti, which is based in Liechtenstein, has its 65,000 square foot Product Developmental Tool Service Center in Irving located in the Parc Royal Center. The company specializes in the development and manufacturing of high-end tools for commercial construction, building maintenance and mining industries.

Hilti North America’s president and CEO, Cary Evert, commented that the Irving Convention Center was the perfect place for this event as it provided a covered, outdoor area for their employees to test drills and cut concrete. The week culminated with a dinner honoring some of the company’s longest serving employees.
