The AACSB-accredited “Dallas DBA,” a part-time, three-year doctoral program for experienced business leaders, consists of a 60-credit-hour curriculum centered on developing strategies that incorporate organizational agility, customer engagement and emerging technologies, as well as sustainable and ethical business practices. The applied research program provides each student an opportunity to focus on finding solutions to challenges of the contemporary workplace under the close guidance of scholar-practitioners who boast a significant amount of work experience along with their academic backgrounds.
“We’re extremely proud of our practice-based, doctoral research program,” said Interim Dean Brett J. L. Landry. “It has already provided many of our students with opportunities to present research based on real world issues at academic conferences both nationally and internationally. They’re well on their way to becoming scholar-practitioners themselves.”
The application deadline for the college’s 2016 DBA cohort is Friday, Jan. 15, 2016; classes will begin June 2016. For more information, visit www.udallas.edu/dba.
“We are very pleased to see our efforts being recognized,” said Director of Doctoral Programs J. Lee Whittington. “This speaks to the quality of our faculty, staff and students.”
