The Irving ISD Athletic Department, in partnership with the Greater Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and ESPN Dallas, recognized Irving High School senior Noah Salinas as the One Irving Scholar Athlete of the Month for December. The award is presented to a student who has shown extraordinary dedication and achievement in sports and in the classroom.

Noah, who is ranked in the top 10 percent of his class, is a varsity football and baseball player. He also competes in wrestling and is a part of the school’s broadcast team, KIRV. He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is active in his church, leading a student ministry. He also gives to his community delivering goods for Irving Cares, coaching in the IBFA football clinic, donating money, canned food and gifts for angel programs during the holidays and distributing water at the Irving Cares 10K, 5K and Mile Run.
