At the annual WBE Hall of Fame awards dinner, Tom Trotter was inducted into the National Women’s Business Hall of Fame in recognition of 20 years of leadership of the Women’s Business Council Southwest.

Trotter has been on the advisory board of Women’s Enterprise Magazine since 1992.  He also led the DFW Minority Business Council for 20 years and served as Vice Chairman for half that time.  

Trotter received President Obama’s President’s Volunteer Service Award for over 10,000 hours of volunteerism with over a dozen local and national organizations including SER National, Baylor Scott & White Irving and the Greater Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce.

“I am proud to participate in IBM’s On Demand Community Volunteer program and to use their tools to improve the productivity of the organizations where I volunteer!” said Tom.
