JPI’s new Jefferson Riverside project in Irving will have 371 units. (JPI)

Irving-based developer JPI has started construction on two North Texas apartment communities in Irving and Frisco.

The 424-unit Jefferson Stonebriar project is located at the northeast corner of Gaylord Parkway and Ohio Drive in Frisco.

And the Jefferson Riverside contains 371 rental units and is at the southwest corner of Northwest Highway and Riverside Drive in the Las Colinas Urban Center.

Both projects will start leasing next summer.

JPI has 3,400 units under construction in Texas, California, Arizona, New York and Massachusetts.

“D-FW has a high demand for quality multifamily development,” Matt Brendel, JPI’s development partner, said in a statement. “It has been a tremendous year for JPI, and we plan to keep up the momentum through the end of 2015 and into 2016.”

JPI has new projects that recently completed in Allen, Richardson and Las Colinas.

The builder has developed projects in 126 cities in 27 states.
