McCall succeeds Gary Huddleston
The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce announced today that Michael McCall, labor relations director for Irving-based NCH Corporation has been selected by the Chamber’s Board of Directors to serve as its new chairman beginning October 1, 2015. McCall will succeed current Board chairman Gary Huddleston, Kroger’s director of consumer affairs. McCall has served and advised on the Chamber’s Executive Committee for 2 years, and was unanimously selected for a one-year term as Chairman.
“We’re so grateful to Gary for his steadfast leadership,” said Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Beth Bowman, “and Mike is an outstanding choice to continue Gary’s legacy. Mike’s robust background in management will help the Chamber grow and evolve. I look forward to working with Mike to continue doing the essential work of the Chamber,” she concluded.
For more than a decade, Mike McCall has managed human resource functions for NCH Corporation, a global leader in industrial, commercial, and institutional maintenance products and services that employs more than 8,500 employees on six continents. McCall has spearheaded NCH’s commitment and support of Irving schools for many years. This year, he led the fundraising effort for John R. Good Elementary through the school’s annual “Golf for Good” tournament. The event raised $50,000 for the school and students.
