About 54th Street
54th Street is a restaurant chain founded in Kansas City, Mo. by Thomas E. Norsworthy. He envisioned a place that would appeal to both the dining and the bar customer within the same facility but also offered the kind of quality food and drinks that exceed national chain competitors. The result is an eclectic, retro style atmosphere that accommodates both a lively bar crowd and a consistently crowded dining room, translating into a great experience for all types of patrons. The majority of the food is made from scratch daily. The restaurant’s motto is, “Great food starts with high quality meats and ingredients, fresh produce and meals prepared from scratch.” Though each location features upscale architecture and “Made from Scratch Cooking,” 54th Street maintains generous portions at casual dining prices. 54th Street has 22 restaurant locations, combined, in the Greater Kansas City, St. Louis and San Antonio Metropolitan areas, with two more locations scheduled to open in the San Antonio area in 2015. With one location now open in Irving, TX, stay tuned for more locations to open in the DFW area very soon! The best part….all 23 locations are family owned, NOT a franchise.
