GE Capital has leased 145,000 square feet of space at Riverside Commons, the former home of BlackBerry Ltd. in Irving.

GE Capital has leased roughly a third of the six-building Riverside Commons office campus in Las Colinas.

The deal reportedly is one of the largest office leases this year, according to the Dallas Morning News. The buildings formerly were the site of Canadian tech company BlackBerry Ltd.’s U.S. headquarters.

According to reports, GE Capital is taking 148,000 square feet of office space at Riverside Commons. GE Capital reportedly will house nearly 700 at the complex and is consolidating operations currently housed at two Las Colinas office buildings.
