For the seventh straight year, Irving, TX leads the nation in the number of small businesses winning the Blue Ribbon Small Business award given by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The Blue Ribbon Award recognizes small businesses that have demonstrated outstanding success, innovation, and contributions to economic growth and free enterprise. The 2015 winners were selected from a record number of applicants from communities across the nation and evaluated in four key areas including strategic planning, employee development, community involvement, and customer service. All six businesses are members of the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce.
The 2015 Blue Ribbon winners are:
Cooksey Communications is a communications and public relations firm specializing in strategic planning, branding, marketing, social media, community engagement, media training, crisis communications, and special events. This is the fourth time Cooksey has won the Blue Ribbon.
Elemental Methods is a full-service business and information technology consulting organization specializing in technology strategy, mobile application development, and project Management. Elemental Methods is a two-time Blue Ribbon winner.
Express Employment Professionals is a leading staffing provider working to find the right job for job seekers. Express Employment is a three time Blue Ribbon winner.
Glory House Catering Receptions & Bistro has won the Blue Ribbon winner eight years in a row, more than any other small business in Irving.
Larsen Dye Associates Architects specializes in planning, architecture and interior design. Larsen Dye is a four-time Blue Ribbon winner.
MAT Solutions specializes in test equipment procurement, calibration, and repair, and is a two- time Blue Ribbon winner.
