Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne will review the City’s accomplishments, bring attention to issues important to the Irving business community and highlight future opportunities at the 2015 State of the City address on Thursday, Jan. 29. The mayor will also present the inaugural Mayor’s Award of Excellence to an individual or company in Irving who has been a longstanding contributor to the City in an exceptional way. The annual event will take place at the Westin Dallas-Fort Worth Hotel. The dinner and address will begin at 7 p.m., with a reception at 6 p.m.
The event, which is hosted by the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, is open to the public.
