About 150 children visited downtown Irving businesses on Halloween for the 4th Annual Trick or Treat on Main Street.

The Greater Irving – Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and its Heritage Crossing Business Alliance hosted the free trick-or-treating event from 4 to 6 p.m. on Halloween. Trick or Treat on Main Street aims to showcase downtown Irving businesses and its family-friendly atmosphere to residents and visitors.

Local ABC-affiliate WFAA-TV, channel 8, broadcasted live from Trick or Treat on Main Street for a few segments from 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Downtown Irving businesses that participated in Trick or Treat on Main Street by passing out candy to children, included Big State Fountain Grill, Glory House Catering and Bistro, Porter’s Army & Navy Store, Angels & Moore, Al’s Rent to Own, Fun & a ‘Lil Chic Boutique and Emporium, Clothes Quarters, Vintage & Collectible and the Curiosity Shop. The Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce also participated in the event.
