An optical lens firm is moving its distribution center from Santa Clara, Calif. to North Texas.

Hoya Vision Care is based in Lewisville and has leased a 101,817-square-foot industrial space in the Trade Center IX building at 755 Regent Boulevard in Irving.

The company will start operations from the new facility next month.

The building near Dallas/Fort Worth International airport is owned by Trammell Crow Co., Clarion Partners and Rosewood Property Co.

Steve Trese with CBRE Group negotiated the lease with Mark Miller and Tyson Erwin with NAI Robert Lynn Co.

HOYA Vision Care is a U.S. firm owned by Hoya Corp. of Japan.
