Alamo Drafthouse is getting ready to open its third location in Dallas-Fort Worth. The Austin-based dine-in theater will bring its latest DFW auditoriums to the new Music Factory in Las Colinas. The theater is slated to open in Spring 2016.
“Being a part of an entertainment specific development is a perfect fit,” said Bill C. DiGaetano, COO of Drafhouse Cinema DFW.
“Co-tenants like the 8,000-seat amphitheater, extraordinary restaurants, the bowling center, and other entertainment venues give us opportunities to create incredible events for our guests at the theater or with an neighboring venue.” ‘
The announcement of this location comes just one month after the company released plans to open a location in Downtown Dallas on South Lamar and Cadiz.
The Music Factory is expected to feature 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurants,100,000 square feet of space dedicated to a concert hall and amphitheater, with 8,000 seats, an outdoor event plaza and 100,000 square feet of offices.
