Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has released the latest version of its mobile application, which aims to help travelers navigate the airport and get information that could affect their plans.

The application, the Official DFW Airport Mobile App version 2.0, is free and available for iOs and Android devices. It comes in six languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Korean.

The newest version of the application includes a voice concierge, which allows customers to use their voices to ask for information including flights, restaurants shops and parking. It also has the restaurant/shop finder, which helps travelers find the closest of the 270 concession outlets; a weather feature, to check the latest forecasts and conditions; and integrated social media, which connects users to the airport’s Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram and YouTube feeds for the latest information.

The airport also upgraded several features on its latest version of the application, including its home screen, which has been redesigned.

Its redesigned flights interface was created to help give passengers easier access to information. The feature allows users to enable push notifications, notifications on its flight search feature and the ability to save and retrieve stored flight information.

The parking functionality allows customers to receive continuously update information that includes availability and rates for valet, terminal, express and remote parking.

The feedback module now includes survey questions and the ability to provide direct feedback.

D/FW Airport originally launched its application in January, after testing it with more than 100 local and connecting passengers for two months.
