The 2014 HP Byron Nelson Championship, which is now known as the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship, raised $5.6 million for Momentous Institute with the help of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. With the latest fundraising efforts, the Salesmanship Club — a service organization with more than 600 business leaders — has raised more than $137 million since 1968, transforming more than 100,000 children’s lives with school and therapy programs through Momentous Institute.

The money will help the institute’s plans to expand its training programs and research for education and help additional mental health professionals serve children in Dallas-Fort Worth. This fundraising effort marks the end of title sponsor Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ), which has been the title sponsor for the past 12 years. Dallas-based AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) will now carry the torch forward as the golf championship’s title sponsor.

The 2015 AT&T Byron Nelson Championship is scheduled for play May 25-31 at TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving.
