Spireon opens Irving office with ribbon-cutting on July 17.

The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting to welcome Spireon to Irving on July 17.

Irvine, Calif.-based Spireon opened its sixth office in the nation in Irving nearly two months ago with 20 employees. Spireon plans to expand to 60 employees in Irving by the end of 2014, and to 100 employees by 2015.

Spireon connects companies to their mobile assets and workforce through information platforms giving them access to business intelligence. The company currently has offices in Woodstock, Ga., Knoxville, Tenn. and Dyersville, Iowa.

Spireon’s Irving office, at 4929 Royal Lane West in Irving, was selected because of its proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, said Ken Creager, Senior Vice President of Fleet.

“We chose to open an office in Irving because of its proximity to D/FW Airport, which makes it easy for us to bring in employees for training,” Creager said. “Irving’s also a great location because it’s in the center of the metroplex where we have access to all the great talent from the surrounding universities.”
