The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce welcomed S.W.E.A.T Boxing & Training Facility to Irving.  The ribbon-cutting was held on Thursday June, 5. The new boxing & training facility is located on 500 S. Belt Line Road, Suite 500 in South Irving.

S.W.E.A.T was founded by Irving high school friends Brandon Parraway and Julian Williams. Parraway is a certified professional trainer and Williams is an ex-college All-American and professional baseball player turned real estate executive. The longtime friends saw the need for a professional boxing ring and gym in South Irving, a community that has produced several Olympic boxers through the Police Athletic League’s program. Some of those boxers include George Rincon, Alex Rincon and Hector Valdez.

“We want to bring something positive to the South Irving community that focuses on healthy living,” Williams said in a news release. “This is a state-of-the art training facility and boxing ring with a gym.”
