The Irving ISD will be recognized with three awards at the Texas Association of Partners in Education (TAPE)) Awards Luncheon on Jan. 28. The luncheon will be held at the Austin Convention Center during the Texas Association of School Administrators Midwinter Conference. Winning a crystal award for community partnership is the CTE Hydro-Technology Program which is partnered with the City of Irving Water Utilities. A gold award for individual role model will be awarded to Linda Rivera, a parent volunteer at Lee Elementary School. Finishing as a finalist for business partnership academic impact is district partner MacArthur OB/GYN. Congrats, Irving ISD.
