The theater is slated to open at The Commons mixed-use development, at the George Bush Turnpike and State Highway 114, in 2015.
Alberta Development Partners is working with iPic on the new location.
The Las Colinas theater is expected to have nine auditoriums seating between 44 and 143 people each. The location will include Tanzy Express, iPic’s chef-driven, in-theater dining concept. Premium ticket holders have access to reclining seats, pillows and blankets and personal-service call buttons that summon servers.
The Las Colinas theater will also feature Tanzy Restaurant, an independent eatery offering artisanal Italian cuisine and a full-service bar headed by mixologist and master sommelier Adam Seger.
iPic, based in Boca Raton, Fla., has nine locations, including one in Fairview, with 67 screens in seven states. The Las Colinas location is one of six locations opening in the next 18 months.
