Qatar Airways announced Wednesday that it will begin daily service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Doha beginning on July 1, 2014. It will be Qatar’s second Texas route. The airline is flying nonstop daily flights from Houston to Doha. “We take this opportunity to thank the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for their support in enabling the commencement of Qatar Airways’ new services. D/FW is the world’s fourth-busiest airport, and we are pleased to begin operating services there,” the airline said in a release. The route will be operated using the airline’s flagship Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. The plane features two-class design with 42 business class lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, the airline said. Economy class will feature 217 seats in a 3-3-3 across configuration, Qatar Airways said. According to Qata Airways, the from from D/FW to Doha will leave at 7:35 p.m. and will arrive in Doha at 6:20 p.m. the following day. Flights from Doha to D/FW will leave a 8:10 a.m. Doha time and will arrive at D/FW at 6:15 p.m.
