The Irving Chamber’s Economic Development Partnership reports that it completed FY2013 with great success.  There were 26 economic development “wins” resulting in new company relocations and/or companies retained/expanded in Irving. This activity created 6,520 new and retained jobs for Irving residents, $388.4 million in new taxable capital investment, and $63.5 million in new taxable sales.  The Partnership also generated a total of 62 new, retention and expansion projects in FY2013, representing up to 14,354 job opportunities. Many of these 62 projects continue to be in various stages of progression, and will result in more economic development success in FY2014.
