Dallas County, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, will make Election Identification Certificates (EIC’s) available to eligible Dallas County residents at various locations.
The service will be offered in Irving as follows:
–Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd. from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Oct. 9
–Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Oct. 11
Several DPS locations, including the one in Irving at 1003 W. Sixth St., will also offer the service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 and Nov. 2. Call 972-253-4171.
To qualify for an EIC, an applicant must:
- Bring documentation to verify U.S. citizenship
- Bring documentation to verify identity
- Be eligible to vote in Texas (Bring a valid voter registration card or submit a voter registration application through DPS)
- Be a Texas resident
- Be 17 years and 10 months or older
