The City of Irving recognizes community gardening as a valuable recreational activity that contributes to the health and well-being of the wider community and provides a wide range of environmental, social and educational benefits. The Community Gardens Grant Program provides an opportunity for local nonprofit organizations and neighborhood associations to apply for grant funding to establish a community garden program.

The City of Irving is offering informational meetings to help learn about the program.

  • Thursday, Oct. 24 | 6 to 7 p.m. | Central Library Auditorium, 801 W. Irving Blvd.
  • Saturday, Nov. 2 | 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. | Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail
  • Friday, Nov. 8 | 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. | Irving City Hall, First Floor Council Conference Room, 825 W. Irving Blvd.
