Las Colinas’ office sector is humming with activity this week. New York-based investor Fortis Property Group has purchased the Point, a roughly 403,130-sf office tower on SH 114. The 18-story, 30-year-old building is almost fully leased. Among the tenants are Lehigh Hanson, GE Capital and Interstate Hotels. The seller was Global Investors. Meanwhile, Neovia Logistics Services LLC is moving its headquarters here from Illinois. Taking two floors in the Las Colinas Corporate Center on SH 114, the company is bringing more than 200 jobs to town. Fifty employees are working in temporary offices until Nov. 1, when the space is expected to be ready.
