The school district received a $25,000 national education grant from Trend Micro, a Japanese security and software company. Trend Micro is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the launch of a national education grant program to support safe online technology for students and provide training in the company’s security software. Irving ISD received $10,000 in cash and $15,000 in software and technology services. Trend Micro relocated its global operations headquarters from Cupertino, Calif., to a 51,000-square-foot Las Colinas building on Tuesday.
