National AMBUCS, Inc. is a non-profit service organization consisting of a diverse group of men and women who are dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.  One of the most successful programs in recent years has been the distribution of the AmTryke therapeutic tricycle.  Each year, AMBUCS provide in excess of 1,000 AmTryke’s to disabled children.  Throughout the year, the group participates in many fundraising events to raise funds for the building and distribution of these special tricycles.  The delight on the faces of children receiving these tricycles, many experiencing mobility for the first time, is an incredibly moving experience for all those who participating in the program.
