A higher-spec full-touch successor to BlackBerry’s Z10 smartphone
may be in the offing for November. ZDNet reported that the new A10 phone, codenamed the Arista, has more power than the current Z10 and Q10 phones from BlackBerry (Nasdaq: BBRY). BlackBerry, which operates its U.S. headquarters in Irving, did not respond to ZDNet’s request for comment. ZDNet said that Sprint Nextel already has agreed to sell the new phone. Sprint does not carry the Z10, which is carried by Dallas-based AT&T
Inc. (NYSE: T) and Verizon Wireless.
