Christina Winters Gears, Former First Lady of Irving and owner of the precious cat named Splinter, announced today that the DFW Humane Society of Irving will offer the adoption fee of $24 for 24‐hours to Celebrate Splinter’s 24th Birthday party which was June 6, 2013. The party will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the DFW Humane Society, located at 4140 Valley View Lane, Irving, Texas 75038.

The DFW Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1967 and is a nokill shelter that receives no state or federal funding. They solely depend on caring people for their survival. Ms. Winters Gears has been a sponsor of their Black Collar Affair annual fundraiser for over 15 years and for the last 2 years; she has been the underwriting sponsor.

The $24 for 24hours to Celebrate Splinter’s 24th Birthday is an adoption event made for cats only. This will definitely be a wonderful event and we hope that you will be able to join us in supporting the DFW Humane Society!
