Structura Body Therapies, an advanced structural integration massage therapy, concept, announced today that it has finalized an agreement with a local entrepreneur to bring the business’ first franchise clinic to Chandler. The deal, struck with Tate Hardcastle, a Phoenix resident, is a historic moment for Structura Body Therapies. It will result in the company’s first franchise location, which is set to open this summer.

“We are thrilled to sign our very first franchise agreement with a professional as talented as Tate,” said Martin Metzler, chief executive officer of Structura Institute Holdings LLC. “We are completely confident that under Tate’s leadership, Structura Body Therapies has a bright future in the Phoenix area. The difference we make on peoples’ lives can be life changing, and Tate is the perfect person to carry on this tradition as we expand into the area.”

Hardcastle, who has nearly 10 years of experience as a professional massage therapist, studied at the Utah College of Massage Therapy under Jason Prince, chief operating officer of Structura Body Therapies, LLC. He considers structural integration to be the future of pain management, which is why he made the decision to invest in the concept and open his very own Structura clinic.

“I am thrilled that the dedicated and hardworking team members at Structura are on my side. Their professionalism, knowledge and overwhelming support have made this leap into business ownership a smooth transition,” said Hardcastle. “The Southeast Valley and all of Phoenix needs a place for people to go as an alternative to the mainstream, allopathic medical field. I am passionate about helping people live a better, pain-free life, and Structura is the best way to do just that. Whether it resulted from an injury or sickness, no one should suffer from chronic pain. Unfortunately, many do not seek treatment and the effects are devastating.”

In addition to the talented team at Structura Body Therapies and the ongoing support he is already receiving, Hardcastle is also elated about being awarded the franchise opportunity because of the affordability it offers as a new entrepreneur. Structura Body Therapies lowers the barriers to entry for Hardcastle and others through its low franchise fee and start-up costs.

Metzler, a seasoned business developer with vast franchise industry experience, partnered with renowned structural integration experts Jason and Nancy Prince, husband and wife, to form Structura Body Therapies less than two years ago. They have grown the concept to three clinics in Utah, and now are moving forward with a strategic franchising growth initiative.

Prior to launching Structura Body Therapies in 2011, Jason led education and training at the Steiner Education Group, one of the top massage therapy schools in the world where he introduced structural bodywork into the curriculum. His influence has been transformative for the industry, which is indicative of why he conducts training for new Structura franchisees and therapists, and sits on several boards and committees in the field. Nancy Prince has also made a lasting mark on the development of structural integration. Working and training with Jason, Nancy successfully launched a private structural integration therapy business, which has given way to Structura Body Therapies.

The Texas-based company is the only franchise in the massage sector to take a structural and functional approach to massage therapy. The treatment, seeks to eliminate pain by going straight to the source of the problem. Focusing on the connective tissue and the fascia flow of the body, Structura therapists are able to eliminate ailments, instead of providing merely temporary relief by focusing only on the symptoms of the pain.

Complete with training, site selection, marketing and ongoing support, the business model has been cultivated to attract individuals or teams with an ambition to succeed. Strong values and solid community and business connections are also enabling franchisee success. The Structura Body Therapies franchise investment starts at $60,000, which includes the $25,000 franchise fee. The franchise has been designed as a low-cost opportunity in order to appeal to a wide range of individuals who can afford to make the investment in the business and their future.
