Clint Roddy has been selected as the next Athletic Director for the Irving ISD.  Clint currently serves as Assistant Athletic Director for Dallas ISD.  He has held this position since 2007.  Clint holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.  He maintains teacher certifications in all levels of physical education, generic special education, and basic business.
Clint began his career in 1997 as a coach and faculty member of Navarro College.  He then served as a teacher and coach at Dallas A. Maceo Smith High School, and went on to become Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Seagoville High School.  In his role as Assistant Athletic Director, he coordinated football, baseball, golf, and swimming in Dallas ISD, consisting of 22 high schools and 32 middle schools.
Clint will begin his new duties on a part time basis beginning May 13, and join the IISD on a full-time basis beginning June 3, 2013.
