Following his performance to the Entertainment Series of Irving concert goers the evening before at the Irving Arts Center, Jason Coleman visited the Irving Heritage Center on April 9 to the delight of all in attendance. Performing from his program of “The Legacy of Floyd Cramer,” this grandson of the famous pianist Floyd Cramer has been a hit with audiences everywhere during his recent national tour.
Floyd Cramer was known for his slip note style of piano playing and Jason has managed to copy it exactly. Cramer accompanied many stars including Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers  before launching his own solo career. He also recorded and toured with Chet Atkins and Boots Randolph.  Cramer is one of the few people inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
The Entertainment Series of Irving is currently in their subscription drive for the 2013-2014 season.  For details of that series, visit www.entertainmentseries.com or call 972-252-3838.
