National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate individuals doing extraordinary things through service.  Established in 1974, National Volunteer Week focuses national attention on the impact and power of volunteerism and service as an integral aspect of our civic leadership.  The week draws support and endorsement of the president and Congress, governors, mayors and municipal leaders, as well as corporate and community groups across the country.

The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a 5 Star Chamber of Commerce because of the many volunteers that donate their time and resources to help make our Chamber successful.  From our Board of Directors to our many working Committees, we are fortunate to have over 500 dedicated volunteers who, through their diligent work, ensure that our Community is a desirable place to live, work, play and learn.

We would like to publicly say thank you to all of our Volunteers at our Five Star Business Mixer, Tuesday, April 23rd, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Zeytin Mediterranean Grill, located just off O’Connor Boulevard.  If you are able to join us, please pre-register by clicking Volunteer Appreciation.

In addition, we will be presenting our Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award, as well as many other Annual Awards at the BEST in Irving Awards Celebration on Thursday, April 25th, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at the Four Seasons Resort & Club Dallas at Las Colinas.  There are still tickets available, so be sure to purchase yours by Clicking Here.

The Chamber is excited to celebrate our Volunteers at these events during National Volunteer Week. A special THANK YOU to our Volunteers!  We could not do it without you!
